It's been at least 5 years since I was last actively seeking commissions and freelance work. That's due in large part to becoming a teacher in 2017. Don't get me wrong, I love teaching Photoshop, Graphic Design, and Digital Art to all of my middle and high school students. But there's something about making artwork for other people that's irreplaceable for me. Stepping into another person's world, bringing life to their stories, characters, or other creations is the absolute best.
Right now I'm poking around the internet for work and seeing what's out there. I'm also dressing up my portfolio to reflect my current skill. I couldn't believe how old some of my posted work was on DeviantArt and ArtStation. For so long I've just made artwork, saved it to my computer and moved on.
