Metalltool is a musician who's genre mainly falls under a hybrid of metal and synthwave (aka retrowave) that captures the feel of 80's rock with a new twist. Many of the songs on his channels are covers of retro video games. All of the artwork I've created for his videos have focused on Mega Man and Mega Man X. Given that I've always had a love of creating retro video game artwork, I would create videos showcasing my process. On these videos, I would usually try to find new music to have playing in the background. When I found Metalltool, we decided to partner up and create for each other.
